Lodestone Academy

This academy offers behavior analytic school and academic services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or behavioral issues. They follow the Sunshine State Standards as closely as they can when it comes to academics.

The behavior analytic studies include but are not limited to:

• Discrete Trial Training
• Natural Environmental Training
• Precision Teaching
• Direct Instruction
• Task Analyses

  • Dr. Pritchard wishes to use behavior analysis to help improve the education of students who are unable to fully benefit from the standard educational practices, and that every students deserves the opportunity to access the best education they can receive regard of disabilities or behavioral disorders.
• Jason Lewis, M.S., BCBA
  • Lewis has prior experience with in-home consultations in the BHRS system for about 4 years and worked a position at another center that provided services for autistic kids and adults. He is interested in how effective teaching interventions and language development and how it applies to social development.
• Brittany Shory, B.S.
  • Shory has experience teaching both individuals and groups in a variety of settings such as in-home and in-center therapies with school aged children. She enjoys teaching functional skills that improve the quality of life for disabled individuals like new life skills, eating habits, reading, and writing.
